What is A Unmodified Cable Box Descrambler / Converter?

1. We offer unmodified basic channel changer types of cable box descramblers. The boxes we offer will NOT unscramble ANY pay channels, premium channels, or pay per view channels offered by ANY cable company. If you want to view pay type channels you must contact your cable company and they will provide you with a cable TV box and the services you want to pay for.
2. The cable boxes we offer are necessary if you own a Plasma TV without a tuner. If your current TV is not capable of tuning in channels offered from 01-125. If your TV remote control no longer works or the volume control is defective, installing A unmodified cable box will allow you to tune channels, control volume and turn on and off the TV set via the remote control that comes with the box.

3. Unmodified cable box descramblers act just like a VCR would. They will change your channels, tune in the signal & the cable box can also control your volume and mute and turn off your TV set via the remote control if your TV is plugged into switchable power outlet on the back of the cable box.

4. Unmodified cable box descramblers will not unscramble any pay signals. These cable boxes will not work on any digital cable box system.

5. Unmodified cable box descramblers can be used in extra rooms in your home.





How to Order

1. Look at the box you have now. The Name is on the front i.e.: Jerrold, General Instrument Pioneer, Scientific Atlanta etc. No digital cable box descrambler though.

2. Look underneath your current box and you will find a sticker there that has your model # on it. It will start out CATV Converter, and everything that follows this is your model #. We need to whole # to find the exact box you need. No digital cable box descrambler though.

3. Click on the box to the left that looks like your cable box and with the information from above you should be ready to order your new cable box! No digital cable box descrambler though.

4. If your TV is cable ready and you have no converter box you will need one of our Universal Cable Boxes i.e.: Cool Box, or The Matrix. No digital cable box descrambler though.

5. ATTENTION! You must have basic extended cable service or channels available by antenna or air for the cable box to work. No digital cable box descrambler though.
